I received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. After working as a financial economist in Washington, DC and New York City, I moved to Los Angeles at the turn of the century and briefly worked in a patisserie. My teaching credential is from CSULA and I also attended LACC and PCC. When not thinking of devilishly difficult math problems for my students to solve, I enjoy hiking, knitting, and baking.
